New organic DT for Klätterverket Gasverket

This recent collaboration with Klätterverket Gasverket focused on developing new volumes for their gym — a project where design, functionality, and visual identity had to work together seamlessly.

From the start, the goal was clear: create volumes that fit naturally into the Klätterverket environment while offering route setters versatile tools for movement and flow on the wall.

Design and Function

The shapes were developed to balance strong geometry with smooth transitions, allowing for a wide variety of climbing styles, all in all arund 50 new volumes. The volumes provide both clear directional features and subtle surfaces that setters can use creatively.

Careful attention was given to:

  • Proportions and wall presence

  • Bolt placement and usability

  • Surface friction and durability

  • Visual integration with the gym environment

A Refined Dual Tex

The final pieces feature a combination of textured climbing surfaces and smooth dual tex, creating contrast both visually and functionally.

The soft light green tones were chosen to sit comfortably within the space, allowing holds and routes to stand out while the volumes support the overall wall design.

Built Through Close Collaboration

Projects like this are always a dialogue. Working closely with the Klätterverket team ensured that the volumes not only look right, but also perform exactly how setters and climbers expect.

The result is a set of pieces that feel natural in the Gasverket space — purposeful, durable, and built for years of movement on the wall.
